Continuing the spectacular success of its inaugural year, the Sony World Photography Awards takes the show on the road to further celebrate this year’s winners.
A total of ninety-seven images submitted by the eleven professional category winners have been reproduced and framed to the highest quality, and will be showcased on a global circuit that is scheduled to travel to all corners of the world, including the US, Asia, Australasia, Eastern and Western Europe, Africa and South America.
Each year, the Global Tour will showcase the winners and promote their work, bringing their extraordinary achievements to a whole new audience through original exhibitions in some of the world’s most prestigious photographic galleries and other uniquely selected venues.
It is through these types of programmes and initiatives that the Sony World Photography Awards stands apart. Continually creating avenues to promote and support its discovered photographers, the SWPA reach far beyond a standard awards show and photographers benefit from unparalleled global exposure and a prestigious network through the organisations network and World Photographic Academy members.
